- Operate diesel or electric-powered forklift to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, terminal, or similar location.
- Follow safety guideline while operating forklift to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
- Performs a pre-shift check to ensure no defects with the machine prior to commencement of work
- Positions forklift under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secures material or products for transport to designated areas
- Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, cars, or lifting devices
- Loads and unloads empty containers in a safe manner
