- Grid Code requirement and connection compliance studies
- Support the analysis and evaluation of grid reliability and security
- Support the company’s business development teams in identifying and pursuing opportunities
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics/Physics
- Around 10 years of experience in Power System Operations and Security
- Experience with HVDC, FACTS and Power Electronics related studies
- Expertise in translating complex data into key strategic insights and valuable actions
- Knowledge of power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE, PSCAD)
- Fluent in English

- EGI wishes to reinforce its team working on Power System Operations and Security in the context of deep integration of renewable energy sources.
- Typical activities include analysis and definition of operational principles, model definition and validation, steady state and dynamic stability analysis, grid code compliance, and business development support.
Your profile
- Master's degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics/Physics.
- Around 10 years of experience in Power System Operations and Security.
- Experience with HVDC, FACTS and Power Electronics related studies including transient stability, fault analysis, and dynamic performance assessments.
- Expertise in translating complex data into key strategic insights and valuable actions.
- Knowledge of power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE, PSCAD).
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of Arabic and the region is a strong asset.
