Position Summary
Design, develop, test and optimize power electronic systems and equipment for advanced aerospace, defence and autonomous applications.
Work on power conversion, motor drives, power integration and power systems with multidisciplinary teams.
Deliver reliable, efficient and cost-effective solutions that meet technical, safety and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop power electronic converters, inverters, rectifiers, AC/DC and DC/DC converters, and motor drive systems.
- Perform component selection and sizing for power semiconductors, magnetics, capacitors and protection devices.
- Develop electrical schematics, PCB layouts and wiring diagrams.
- Design control algorithms for power conversion and motor control applications.
- Evaluate and implement SiC and GaN power semiconductor technologies.
- Optimize advanced converters and motor drives and develop novel topologies for energy management and compact form factors.
- Develop PCB designs in Altium Designer for signal integrity, thermal performance and manufacturability.
- Model and validate system behavior using MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS and LTspice.
