Role Purpose
Execute supplier development and industrialization activities for assigned suppliers and part families supporting turbofan, microjet, and piston engine programs.
Deliver supplier assessments, capability and capacity studies, development actions, and on-site technical support with limited supervision.
Build specialist competence within a core manufacturing commodity.
Supplier Development Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier process assessments covering manufacturing methods, equipment, tooling, metrology, and process controls.
- Prepare technical assessment reports, execute development plans, and track actions through closure.
- Support work instructions, routings, operation sheets, CNC program control, and inspection requirements.
- Perform time studies, cycle-time analysis, equipment-utilization assessments, capacity studies, and bottleneck analysis.
- Support run-at-rate demonstrations and process capability studies on key characteristics.
- Support APQP deliverables including process flows, PFMEA, and control plans.
Technical Support and Coordination
- Review supplier manufacturing documentation for technical completeness.
