About the Role
The Senior Power BI Developer will design, build, and govern reporting products and semantic models that turn organizational data into actionable intelligence.
The role provides technical leadership, establishes standards, mentors the team, and supports a data-driven culture through Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and semantic modeling.
Work Arrangement
- This is a hybrid role based out of the Surrey, British Columbia office, combining days in the office with days working from home.
Reporting Product Development
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise reporting and analytics products using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Design executive dashboards, operational scorecards, KPI frameworks, and advanced analytical reporting solutions.
- Develop advanced DAX calculations, measures, calculated tables, and optimized reporting models.
- Ensure reporting products meet standards for performance, usability, UI/UX, accessibility, maintainability, and data quality.
Semantic Model Governance
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise semantic models that support trusted self-service analytics.
