Role Overview

About the Role
The IT Program Manager will serve as the project governance authority across the GroupHEALTH Family of Companies.
The role owns the project management methodology, manages the CIO’s IT portfolio, and develops project management capability across the organization.
The position is hybrid, based in the Surrey, BC office, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
Project Portfolio and Governance
- Maintain a single IT project register covering active, planned, and recently completed initiatives across all entities.
- Track project status, milestones, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Identify and escalate timeline slippage, scope creep, and budget overruns.
- Manage project intake and prioritization across IT pillars.
- Design and manage governance meetings, agendas, pre-read materials, decision records, actions, and owners.
Methodology and Capability Development
- Own and continuously develop the standard project management methodology for planning, execution, governance, and closure.
- Maintain the project management artifact library, including charters, RACI matrices, risk registers, status templates, change requests, and lessons learned logs.
