About the Role
Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Planning Manager for the Diriyah Infrastructure Program in Riyadh. The role involves developing and managing planning, scheduling, and time-related risk activities for tunnel system integration, requiring 10+ years of experience in major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and control a detailed, logic linked baseline schedule for the Tunnel System Integration package using approved planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6)
- Structure the Work Breakdown Structure, Cost Breakdown Structure, and coding systems to support integrated reporting
- Define and validate construction, installation, integration, and commissioning sequences, including access, interfaces, and constraints
- Establish and manage planning assumptions, calendars, production rates, and resource loading
- Coordinate and integrate schedules from contractors, consultants, and vendors into a consolidated package schedule
- Develop and implement a robust progress measurement system, including earned value metrics and KPIs
- Monitor actual progress against the baseline; identify variances, trends, and early warning indicators
- Prepare regular planning reports (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc) including progress curves, S curves, critical path analysis, and milestone tracking
- Lead time related coordination for all interfaces affecting tunnel system integration
- Assess schedule impact of variations, design changes, late information, and site constraints; provide quantified time impact analyses
- Maintain and regularly update schedule risk registers; perform schedule risk analysis using tools such as Monte Carlo simulations
- Mentor, lead, and develop planning team members, providing guidance on best practice in major infrastructure and tunnel systems delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant planning and scheduling experience in major infrastructure or transportation projects
- At least 5 years in a senior planning role on large, complex, multi disciplinary programs
- Demonstrable experience in tunnel projects and/or system integration packages
- Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior client representatives and project leadership
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong capability in schedule development, resource loading, cost loading, and earned value analysis
- High level of competency in MS Excel, Power BI or similar tools for data analytics and dashboard reporting

What You'll Be Doing
- Develop, maintain, and control a detailed, logic linked baseline schedule for the Tunnel System Integration package using approved planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6).

- Define and validate construction, installation, integration, and commissioning sequences, including access, interfaces, and constraints with adjacent works.
- Establish and manage planning assumptions, calendars, production rates, and resource loading aligned with contract and program requirements.
- Coordinate and integrate schedules from contractors, consultants, and vendors into a consolidated package schedule and reconcile them with the program master schedule.
- Develop and implement a robust progress measurement system, including earned value metrics and key performance indicators for time and productivity.
- Monitor actual progress against the baseline; identify variances, trends, and early warning indicators, and recommend corrective and recovery actions.
- Prepare regular planning reports (weekly, monthly, and ad hoc) including progress curves, S curves, critical path analysis, milestone tracking, and look ahead programmes.
- Lead time related coordination for all interfaces affecting tunnel system integration, including civil works, MEP, utilities, and life safety systems.
- Assess schedule impact of variations, design changes, late information, and site constraints; provide quantified time impact analyses to support commercial and contractual positions.
- Maintain and regularly update schedule risk registers; perform schedule risk analysis using tools such as Monte Carlo simulations where required.
- Mentor, lead, and develop planning team members, providing guidance on best practice in major infrastructure and tunnel systems delivery.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant planning and scheduling experience in major infrastructure or transportation projects with at least 5 years in a senior planning role on large, complex, multi disciplinary programs.
- Demonstrable experience in tunnel projects and/or system integration packages, such as road or rail tunnels, utility tunnels, or complex MEP, life safety, and control systems integration.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior client representatives and project leadership.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and construction issues into clear scheduling strategies.
- Strong capability in schedule development, resource loading, cost loading, and earned value analysis.
- High level of competency in MS Excel, Power BI or similar tools for data analytics and dashboard reporting.
