About the Role

- Prepare project specific work breakdown structures (WBS) and define milestones
- Create integrated master plans for multi site or large scale landscaping projects
- Allocate labor, equipment, and material resources effectively
- Monitor and update schedules based on actual progress and implement recovery strategies
- Track actual vs. planned progress through site visits and meetings
- Develop and submit weekly/monthly progress reports including critical path analysis and EVM
- Conduct time risk analysis and propose mitigation measures
- Interface with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for schedule approvals
- Participate in bidding process by preparing preliminary programs and resource histograms
- Manage and mentor junior planners and planning engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 10 12 years of progressive planning and project control experience
- At least 5 years in a senior or managerial planning role
- Expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Asta Powerproject
- Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling, resource leveling, and cost loaded programs
- Strong understanding of landscaping project lifecycles
- Proficient in time risk analysis, float management, and delay impact assessments
- Skilled in Earned Value Management (EVM) and related KPIs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team

- Senior Planning Manager responsible for project planning, scheduling, and program management for landscaping projects.
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Prepare project specific WBS and define key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Coordinate with project and site teams to ensure accurate sequencing of activities.
Program Management & Resource Planning
- Create integrated master plans for multi site or large scale projects.
- Allocate labor, equipment, and material resources effectively.
- Monitor and update schedules, identifying variances and implementing recovery strategies.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Track actual vs. planned progress through site visits and meetings.
- Develop weekly/monthly progress reports with critical path analysis and EVM.
- Highlight schedule deviations and prepare impact assessments.
Risk Analysis & Mitigation
- Conduct time risk analysis to identify potential delays.
- Propose mitigation measures and recovery plans.
- Maintain and update risk registers.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Interface with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for schedule approvals.
- Attend client progress meetings and present planning updates.
- Ensure alignment between contract obligations and planning deliverables.
Tender Support & Pre Award Planning
- Participate in bidding by preparing preliminary programs and resource histograms.
- Review tender documents and BOQs to develop planning inputs.
- Support business development with planning inputs for proposals.
Documentation & Systems Management
- Maintain all planning documentation including baseline programs and delay notifications.
- Ensure proper document control and alignment with ISO standards.
- Lead implementation of planning software and best practices.
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor junior planners and planning engineers.
- Develop standardized planning procedures and templates.
- Foster a culture of proactive planning and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Project Management or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 10 12 years of progressive planning and project control experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or managerial planning role.
- Proven track record in developing complex project schedules for large scale landscape or urban development projects.
- Expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Asta Powerproject.
- Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling, resource leveling, and cost loaded programs.
- Strong understanding of landscaping project lifecycles including hardscape, softscape, and irrigation works.
- Proficient in time risk analysis, float management, and delay impact assessments.
- Skilled in Earned Value Management (EVM) and related KPIs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team.
