AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role supports efficient project management across the consultant's organization and external stakeholders.
The position requires strong Saudi experience and a background in major civil infrastructure projects.
Your Role
- Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Create resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules aligned with budget forecasts and manpower planning.
- Track progress against baseline schedules and prepare S-curves, histograms, and other KPIs.
- Report deviations with recovery plans and analyze delay causes and critical path impacts.
- Support Extension of Time claims.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and clients to validate progress.
- Analyze scheduling risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements and accurate audit records.
- Conduct site inspections to verify actual progress and adjust schedules.
- Use Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel for schedule development, updates, and reporting.
- Recommend planning process improvements and adopt new tools and methodologies.
About You
- At least 10 years of planning and controls experience with a strong PMC background.
- Extensive experience on roads, highways, bridges, utilities, rail, airports, and other major civil infrastructure projects.
- A degree in Civil Engineering.
- PMP certification and other project controls-related certifications.
- Good experience working in Saudi Arabia, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
