Senior Planning Engineer (Landscaping)

Overview

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Set targets for the design team for timely completion and submission of shop drawings.
• Define milestones and ensure timely submission of QA/QC documents, including material and method statements.
• Identify potential risks/delays and prepare mitigation plans to keep the project on track.
• Prepare extension of time (EOT) claims and support variation orders to obtain necessary approvals.
• Develop a mitigation program in case of contractor delays to maintain project timelines.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with the NOC Engineer to expedite the approval process from relevant authorities.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to prepare and justify prolongation cost claims where applicable.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate with the tendering team to prepare and submit a baseline schedule for bids.
• Follow up with team members on open tasks, rising issues, and critical activities.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Generate weekly and monthly progress reports to track project milestones and KPIs.
• Maintain dashboards for internal and external reporting on project progress.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven insights to management.
• Prepare contractual letters for project-related matters and claims.
• Deliver presentations to clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders on project performance.
