Responsibilities
- Develop CAD shop drawings, as built drawings, construction details, and design development plans for landscaping and irrigation projects
- Work from rough sketches and specifications provided by Senior Irrigation Engineer and Landscape Architects
- Analyze sketches, design concepts, specifications, and related data to assess factors influencing irrigation designs
- Revise drawings and layouts based on consultant comments, project updates, and design enhancements
- Collaborate with Senior Architect, Project Manager, Site Manager, and Senior Irrigation Engineer to produce shop drawings and process submittals
- Prepare and submit NOC drawings to NOC Engineer for government approvals
- Submit shop drawings and as built drawings to Dubai Municipality in required MicroStation format
- Assist in preparing quantity take offs for irrigation materials and components
- Generate 2D graphic presentations to support project visualizations
Requirements
- Experience in CAD drafting for irrigation or landscaping projects
- Ability to prepare shop drawings, as built drawings, and construction details
- Knowledge of international drafting standards
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality submission requirements (MicroStation format)

Role Overview
- The Irrigation Draughtsman is responsible for preparing high quality CAD drawings, shop drawings, as built drawings, and construction details for landscaping and irrigation projects.
- This role ensures that all designs align with project specifications, consultant feedback, and international drafting standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop CAD shop drawings, as built drawings, construction details, and design development plans for landscaping and irrigation projects.
- Work from rough sketches and specifications provided by the Senior Irrigation Engineer and Landscape Architects to create precise technical drawings.
- Analyze sketches, design concepts, specifications, and related data to assess factors influencing irrigation designs.
- Revise drawings and layouts based on consultant comments, project updates, and design enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with international drafting standards and project requirements.
