Job Summary
The employer is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer with strong hands-on Primavera P6 experience and Gulf/GCC project experience.
The role covers project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, and coordination with site and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare baseline schedules, WBS, activity relationships, and detailed project programs.
- Monitor planned versus actual progress and identify schedule deviations.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules and recovery programs.
- Monitor critical path activities and project milestones.
- Analyze delays and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare S-curves, progress curves, manpower histograms, and planning reports.
- Coordinate with site, engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and project management teams.
- Collect and verify site progress data for Primavera updates.
- Attend project progress meetings and provide schedule updates.
- Support delay analysis and extension-of-time claims when required.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
