Role Overview

The Senior Planner leads integrated programme and project scheduling for SMR-related programmes.

The role provides advanced planning, schedule analysis, forecasting, governance support, and data-driven recommendations.

The position works across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, licensing, and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of integrated programme and project schedules.
  • Establish and manage planning baselines, critical paths, milestones, and key delivery dependencies.
  • Provide expert schedule analysis, forecasting, and performance assessments.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate schedule risks, opportunities, and emerging issues.
  • Recommend mitigation and recovery strategies.
  • Prepare and present planning data, reports, and insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Apply planning processes, methodologies, and controls consistently across assigned programmes and projects.
  • Lead scenario planning and schedule optimisation activities.
  • Coordinate alignment between engineering, procurement, manufacturing, licensing, and construction activities.
  • Assess schedule impacts during change management and maintain accurate programme forecasts.
  • Mentor Project Planners and junior planning resources and promote planning best practice.
