Job Description Summary
- The Senior Physical Therapy Specialist will administer therapeutic interventions in various settings such as inpatient, outpatient and/or home care environments to restore body movements and agility, manage movement disorders, relieve pain, and/or prevent disability.
Operational Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide total and direct physical therapy service patients requiring advanced skilled and complex interventions.
- Assist/mentor staff members in developing their clinical reasoning and critical thinking knowledge and skills.
- Assess the need for targeted staff development programs in area of clinical to ensure effective patient care.
- Evaluate patient care supplies/equipment and Provide input to supervisor.
Minimum Education Required
- Master's Degree is required.
Professional Certifications Required
- Current BLS Certification.
Years of Experience
- More than 15 year of experience required (minimum of 2 years post MS).
