Responsibilities
- Source proprietary single company secondary opportunities in leading late stage technology and AI businesses
- Leverage relationships with founders, employees, early investors, shareholders and investor relations teams to identify off market opportunities
- Originate exclusive fundraising mandates from leading venture capital and private equity firms
- Build and maintain long term relationships with GPs, managing partners, investor relations and capital formation teams
- Qualify investment opportunities and fund mandates before presenting them internally
- Provide market intelligence on private company valuations, secondary market activity and fundraising trends
- Develop and maintain a high quality pipeline of venture secondaries and institutional fund mandates
- Work closely with the investment and distribution teams, handing over opportunities once originated
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience within venture capital, venture secondaries, growth equity, private equity, capital formation or institutional fundraising
- Established network across founders, venture backed technology companies, general partners, investor relations teams and institutional investors
- Demonstrated track record sourcing proprietary venture secondary transactions or institutional fundraising mandates
- Strong understanding of private markets, venture capital ecosystems and secondary transaction structures
- Commercially minded with the ability to build trusted, long term relationships
- Self motivated and comfortable working independently in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment

Role Overview
- We are partnering with a leading investment platform that is looking to appoint a Senior Origination Specialist to focus on sourcing proprietary venture secondary opportunities and originating institutional fund mandates across the venture capital and private equity ecosystem.
- This is a senior, relationship driven position suited to an individual with an extensive network across founders, general partners, investor relations teams and shareholders within the technology and venture capital landscape.
- The role is focused purely on origination. Capital raising and investor distribution are managed by a dedicated team, allowing you to concentrate on sourcing high quality opportunities through your existing relationships.
- The position can be performed fully remotely from your current location, with the option to relocate to the UAE for those interested.
Key Responsibilities
