Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, upgrade, migrate, patch, troubleshoot, and maintain Oracle Database 19c environments across Production, DR, UAT, QA, and Development
- Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle RAC 19c, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, and Oracle ASM
- Design, implement, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle Data Guard environments, including Active Data Guard, Data Guard Broker, Fast Start Failover (FSFO), Switchover, Failover, and Disaster Recovery testing
- Install, configure, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate Microservices 23ai Hub architecture for Production and Disaster Recovery environments
- Install, configure, administer, and monitor Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 24ai for databases, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and infrastructure components
- Perform Oracle database performance analysis and tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQL Tuning Advisor, SQL Monitor, execution plans, optimizer statistics
- Develop advanced SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and automation solutions for database administration
- Perform database cloning, refresh, migration, backup, recovery, logical export/import using RMAN, EXPDP, and IMPDP
- Plan and execute Oracle Release Updates (RU), OJVM patches, Grid Infrastructure patching, one off patches, database upgrades, and security patching
- Troubleshoot complex Oracle Database, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, OEM, Audit Vault, and performance related issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA)
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including SOPs, installation guides, configuration documents, implementation plans, migration runbooks, rollback procedures, operational manuals, architecture diagrams, disaster recovery procedures, health check reports, RCA reports
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, network, storage, and security teams to deliver highly available, secure, and optimized database solutions

- Over 10 years of hands on experience in designing, implementing, administering, upgrading, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise Oracle database environments

Key Responsibilities

- Develop advanced SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and automation solutions for database administration, health checks, monitoring, reporting, backup validation, maintenance activities, and operational efficiency.
- Perform database cloning, refresh, migration, backup, recovery, logical export/import, and database refresh activities using RMAN, EXPDP, and IMPDP.
- Plan and execute Oracle Release Updates (RU), OJVM patches, Grid Infrastructure patching, one off patches, database upgrades, and security patching while minimizing business downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex Oracle Database, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, OEM, Audit Vault, and performance related issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and coordinate with Oracle Support through Service Requests (SRs) to resolve critical production incidents.
