Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer, upgrade, migrate, patch, troubleshoot, and maintain Oracle Database 19c environments across Production, DR, UAT, QA, and Development
Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle RAC 19c, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, and Oracle ASM
Design, implement, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle Data Guard environments, including Active Data Guard, Data Guard Broker, Fast Start Failover (FSFO), Switchover, Failover, and Disaster Recovery testing
Install, configure, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate Microservices 23ai Hub architecture for Production and Disaster Recovery environments
Install, configure, administer, and monitor Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 24ai for databases, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and infrastructure components
Perform Oracle database performance analysis and tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQL Tuning Advisor, SQL Monitor, execution plans, optimizer statistics
Develop advanced SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and automation solutions for database administration
Perform database cloning, refresh, migration, backup, recovery, logical export/import using RMAN, EXPDP, and IMPDP
Plan and execute Oracle Release Updates (RU), OJVM patches, Grid Infrastructure patching, one off patches, database upgrades, and security patching
Troubleshoot complex Oracle Database, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, OEM, Audit Vault, and performance related issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA)
Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including SOPs, installation guides, configuration documents, implementation plans, migration runbooks, rollback procedures, operational manuals, architecture diagrams, disaster recovery procedures, health check reports, RCA reports
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, network, storage, and security teams to deliver highly available, secure, and optimized database solutions

Requirements

Over 10 years of hands on experience in designing, implementing, administering, upgrading, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise Oracle database environments
Strong expertise in Oracle Database 19c, Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard with Fast Start Failover (FSFO), Oracle GoldenGate Microservices 23ai, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 24ai, Oracle Audit Vault, database performance tuning, automation, and high availability solutions

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Core Database Administrator with over 10 years of hands on experience in designing, implementing, administering, upgrading, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise Oracle database environments.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer, upgrade, migrate, patch, troubleshoot, and maintain Oracle Database 19c environments across Production, DR, UAT, QA, and Development.
Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle RAC 19c, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, and Oracle ASM.
Design, implement, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle Data Guard environments, including Active Data Guard, Data Guard Broker, Fast Start Failover (FSFO), Switchover, Failover, and Disaster Recovery testing.
Install, configure, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate Microservices 23ai Hub architecture for Production and Disaster Recovery environments, including automatic failover, automatic detection of new primary databases following Data Guard role transitions, and continuous replicat
Install, configure, administer, and monitor Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 24ai for databases, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and infrastructure components, including alerting, incident management, compliance monitoring, reporting, and proactive health monitoring.
Perform Oracle database performance analysis and tuning by identifying and resolving database, SQL, PL/SQL, storage, memory, I/O, ASM, RAC, and application performance bottlenecks using AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQL Tuning Advisor, SQL Monitor, execution plans, optimizer statistics, and performance diagnostic
Develop advanced SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and automation solutions for database administration, health checks, monitoring, reporting, backup validation, maintenance activities, and operational efficiency.
Perform database cloning, refresh, migration, backup, recovery, logical export/import, and database refresh activities using RMAN, EXPDP, and IMPDP.
Plan and execute Oracle Release Updates (RU), OJVM patches, Grid Infrastructure patching, one off patches, database upgrades, and security patching while minimizing business downtime.
Troubleshoot complex Oracle Database, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, OEM, Audit Vault, and performance related issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and coordinate with Oracle Support through Service Requests (SRs) to resolve critical production incidents.
Perform application data analysis, validation, verification, reconciliation, and integrity checks within the Oracle database to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
