Key Responsibilities
- Manage dam operations and maintenance activities across assigned projects and locations.
- Coordinate O&M requirements with engineering, planning, contracts, procurement, finance, quality, HSE, and asset-management departments.
- Monitor asset condition, availability, reliability, performance, maintenance backlogs, and critical actions.
- Coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, emergency, and condition-based maintenance, including shutdown, isolation, testing, restart, and return-to-service activities.
- Investigate equipment failures and operational deficiencies, perform or support root-cause analyses, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Develop execution plans, schedules, resource plans, cost estimates, and implementation strategies for O&M, repair, rehabilitation, and improvement projects.
- Track schedules, budgets, commitments, expenditure, forecasts, progress, delays, constraints, and recovery measures.
- Prepare technical specifications, scopes of work, bills of quantities, equipment schedules, and O&M tender requirements.
- Review tender proposals, contractor work plans, method statements, drawings, calculations, technical data sheets, variations, claims, and additional-work requirements.
- Supervise field implementation, inspections, repairs, installations, testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out.
- Monitor contractor performance, KPIs, service-level agreements, defects, non-conformances, completed quantities, payment assessments, and completion documents.
- Establish O&M KPIs, maintain asset and maintenance information in SAP or an approved system, update manuals and procedures, and prepare reports.
Requirements
- Ability to manage dam operations and maintenance activities across assigned projects and locations.
- Ability to coordinate O&M requirements across engineering, planning, contracts, procurement, finance, quality, HSE, and asset-management functions.
- Ability to plan and monitor preventive, predictive, corrective, emergency, and condition-based maintenance.
- Ability to develop execution plans, activity schedules, resource plans, cost estimates, and implementation strategies for dam O&M and improvement projects.
- Ability to prepare technical specifications, scopes of work, bills of quantities, equipment schedules, and O&M tender requirements.
- Ability to review technical proposals, work plans, method statements, drawings, calculations, and technical data sheets.
