Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain SFI Data & Operational Excellence culture, coaching data driven decision making and Operational Excellence principles
- Serve as bridge between Operations and technical data teams to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Understand, define, and prioritize data needs of production teams to support business decisions
- Develop, standardize, and maintain data structures and pipelines for reliable data collection
- Apply analytical and statistical methods to explore data, identify trends, and uncover root causes
- Establish standards and develop clear data visualizations using Power BI, including dashboards and HMI screens
- Provide training and enablement to build Operations' capability in data analytics and visualization
- Collaborate cross functionally to promote best practices in data access, analytics, and KPI visualization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations or related technical field
- 7+ years experience in manufacturing/operations, engineering, or technical area building operational metrics and dashboards
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and/or Tableau
- Knowledge of statistical programming languages like Python or commitment to develop proficiency within 12 24 months
- Data collection, cleaning and governance practices
- Lean and Six Sigma disciplines
- Problem solving skills and ability to translate data into action
- Ownership, self started mindset; servant mindset
- Ability to travel 20% 40% as required

Job Overview
- Senior Operational Excellence Data Analyst responsible for achieving operational targets through independent ownership of moderately complex projects.
- Operates under limited supervision, contributes to defining project objectives, and leads significant portions of initiatives supporting operational performance.
- Regularly communicates with partners within Operations and related functions on topics requiring explanation, interpretation, and advisement.
What You'll Do
- Develop and Sustain SFI Data & Operational Excellence Culture: Support, coach, and reinforce data driven decision making and Operational Excellence principles.
- Operational Data Enablement & Business Partnership: Serve as bridge between Operations and technical data teams to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Production Data Needs & Use Case Definition: Understand, define, and prioritize data needs of production teams.
- Data Structure Development, Collection, and Preparation: Develop, standardize, and maintain data structures and pipelines.
- Data Exploration, Analysis, and Model Development: Apply analytical and statistical methods to explore data and identify trends.
- Data Visualization, KPI Standards, and Reporting: Establish standards and develop clear data visualizations using Power BI.
- Training, Enablement, and Capability Building: Provide targeted training to build Operations' capability in data analytics.
- Cross Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Leadership: Collaborate across functions to promote best practices.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations or related technical field.
- 7+ years experience in manufacturing/operations, engineering, or technical area building operational metrics and dashboards.
