- Follow work instructions and batch record to verify ingredients before weighing and measuring
- Accurately weigh/measure each ingredient as specified in batch record
- Load ingredient into blender in specified order
- Maintain and clean equipment and work area ensuring good housekeeping and 5S standards
- Maintain appropriate separation of materials by food allergens
- Consistently meet production needs and goals while minimizing shrink and downtime
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of blending equipment and processes
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and transactions
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in a food manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to be forklift and pallet jack certified
- Ability to be Lockout Tagout (LOTO) certified
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Basic math skills including fractions, decimals and percentages

Job Description
- This is a fulltime day shift position working on a consistent 7:00 am 7:00 pm rotating schedule.
- Pay starts at $24.40 an hour, $1,000 sign on bonus, $1 weekend premium, benefits day 1, 8% 401K match.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow work instructions and batch record to verify ingredients.
- Accurately weigh/measure each ingredient using computer aided software or manually.
- Verify label information and load ingredient into blender.
- Maintain and clean equipment, parts, tools, utensils and work area.
- Maintain separation of materials by food allergens.
- Consistently meet production needs and goals.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of blending equipment.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork.
- Identify Critical Control Points (CCP).
- Actively participate in shift exchanges and work team meetings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum one year experience in food manufacturing environment required.
- Ability to be forklift and pallet jack certified.
- Ability to be Lockout Tagout (LOTO) certified.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Basic math skills plus fractions, decimals and percentages.
- Basic computer operational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
