Senior Network & Security Engineer / Senior Network Consultant

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
• Diagnose complex connectivity and performance issues and support network and security availability and reliability.
• Work within ITIL processes and collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders on incidents and escalations.
• Provide technical consultancy, improvement recommendations, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation.
• Use ManageEngine or similar monitoring tools where applicable.
• Provide remote or onsite support and work after-hours or weekends when operationally required.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Five to seven years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining large enterprise network environments is required.
• CCNP certification is mandatory.
• Strong enterprise networking, L1/L2/L3 support, ITIL, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities are required.
• The successful candidate must work onsite in the UAE for the full one-year consultancy engagement and support outside normal hours when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCIE, Fortinet NSE, F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator, and CISSP are preferred certifications.
• Penetration testing and ManageEngine monitoring experience are preferred.
• Previous UAE Government or Public Sector customer experience is highly preferred.
• The bidder or organization is expected to have at least two years of experience with government, public-sector, or judicial customers.

Workplace and Schedule

• The role is primarily onsite in the UAE, with remote or onsite support based on operational requirements.
• After-hours and weekend support may be required.
