Overview

  • Penta Consulting are a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA.
  • We’re currently looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to join a high-impact programme delivering secure, large-scale network transformation.
  • This role is ideal for someone with deep Cisco expertise who thrives in complex environments and enjoys working on cutting-edge security solutions.
  • What you’ll be doing:
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco security solutions across enterprise environments
  • Leading and contributing to deployments of Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) for network access control
  • Managing and optimising Cisco Firepower Threat Defence (FTD) and ASA firewalls
  • Supporting migration, upgrade, and transformation initiatives within network security
  • Troubleshooting complex network and security issues across multi-site infrastructures
  • Working closely with architects, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions
  • What we’re looking for:
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Cisco ISE (policy sets, profiling, posture, 802.1X)
  • Cisco FTD & ASA firewalls (configuration, policies, VPNs)
  • Solid background in network security engineering within enterprise environments
  • Experience working on migration or transformation programmes
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, TCP/IP)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
