Senior Network Engineer

At least five years of specialist Fortinet experience and 10 or more years of broader network engineering experience in enterprise or service provider environments.

Advanced experience with Fortinet firewalls and associated management, endpoint, switching, wireless and connectivity products.

Strong knowledge of enterprise network architecture, TCP/IP, routing protocols, VPN technologies, SD-WAN and security practices.

A track record of producing clear network designs, as-built documentation and test plans, and of following structured change and troubleshooting practices.

The ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and remain effective during high-impact incidents.

Clear written and verbal communication, with the confidence to work with technical teams, client leaders and external service providers.

Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced engineers and contributing constructively within a technical team.

A tertiary qualification in computing or information science, or equivalent practical experience.
