Senior Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a single point of contact for end users to receive all infrastructure related support and maintenance within the organization's software applications in person, by telephone, or via remote access in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Install, diagnose, reconfigure, maintain, and upgrade all running software applications stack and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage and prioritize the design, maintenance, development and evaluation of all infrastructure systems including LAN, WAN, security, server, telephony, Internet, intranet, and wireless implementations.
• Design and implement short and long term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future group requirements.
• Effectively monitor, control and support service delivery, ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are followed.
• Conduct feasibility studies for a variety of upgrade projects, improvements and policy.
• Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for infrastructure projects and associated efforts.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure administration, service management, IT security and project management.
• Participate in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the group’s executive team.
• Define hardware and software standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
• Test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining network infrastructure.
• Test server performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining server infrastructure.
