Network and Security Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate secure network infrastructure for SOC monitoring, detection, and response across bank environments.
- Manage LAN, WAN, data center, cloud connectivity, SD-WAN, VPN, and secure remote access components.
- Configure NGFW, IPS/IDS, WAF, DNS security, proxy, NAC, micro-segmentation, and Zero Trust controls.
- Enable log forwarding, NetFlow, packet capture, and telemetry feeds to SOC tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel.
- Participate in cyber incident response, including containment, network isolation, and forensic data collection.
- Maintain network availability, redundancy, resilience, and failover testing aligned with DR and BCP requirements.
- Coordinate vendors and service providers on network solutions, troubleshooting, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
- Maintain diagrams, SOPs, configurations, and operational documentation for audit readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5-8 years of network administration experience in banking or regulated environments.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, F5, switching, and routing technologies.
- Experience integrating network infrastructure with SIEM and NDR solutions.
- Strong understanding of secure network design, segmentation, VPN technologies, and firewall rule management.
- Familiarity with SAMA, NCA ECC, PDPL, and NDMO requirements.
- Experience with ITIL Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
- Hands-on experience in DR and BCP planning, testing, and execution.
- Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud networking and hybrid connectivity is preferred.
Technical Skills and Tools
- Network automation, scripting, and orchestration tools.
- SolarWinds, PRTG, or equivalent network monitoring tools.
- SOC platforms including SIEM, SOAR, NDR, EDR, and threat intelligence integrations.
Operations and Governance
- Perform root cause analysis for network and security incidents and implement preventive actions.
- Support secure architecture aligned with applicable cybersecurity, privacy, and data governance requirements.
- Continuously monitor network performance and security posture.
