About the Role
STRABAG seeks a Senior MEP QA/QC Engineer in Abu Dhabi to implement QA/QC procedures, inspect mechanical works, review documentation, and coordinate with consultants. - Implement and monitor project QA/QC procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Carry out inspections for mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and associated building services
- Review method statements, material submittals, and quality documentation
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and subcontractors and ensure timely closure of NCRs and observations
- Witness testing and commissioning activities and verify compliance with project requirements
- Prepare QA/QC reports and maintain quality records throughout the project lifecycle
- Support internal and external quality audits and promote continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of QA/QC experience within a main contracting company
- High rise / Residential towers building project experience within a main contracting environment
- UAE construction experience is required
- Experience in the inspection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical works in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical reporting
