About the Role
Parsons is seeking a Senior MEP Manager for Electrical & ELV systems on a large venue project. The role covers full lifecycle from design to handover, ensuring robust power distribution, life safety, and ICT/ELV systems.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all Electrical and ELV works across design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning stages
- Coordinate with architecture, structure, mechanical, ICT, security and other disciplines to ensure fully integrated and clash free Electrical and ELV solutions
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical and life safety codes, standards and authority requirements
- Review, comment on and recommend approval of design documents, load calculations, single line diagrams, shop drawings, material submittals and method statements
- Oversee implementation of power distribution networks, lighting systems, small power, emergency power, UPS, earthing and lightning protection
- Manage ELV systems including BMS interfaces, fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, public address/voice alarm, data/telecom and other low voltage systems
- Support planning and sizing of infrastructure for high electrical loads, rigging and event related equipment
- Lead technical coordination meetings with consultants, contractors and suppliers
- Monitor site installation works for quality, safety and adherence to approved designs
- Plan, oversee and witness testing and commissioning activities for Electrical and ELV systems
- Contribute to value engineering and optimisation exercises
- Provide technical support to procurement and commercial teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Electrical and ELV design, installation and management on large, complex building or infrastructure projects
- Strong experience on major multi disciplinary developments such as exhibition or convention centres, airports, mixed use developments, healthcare, data centres or similarly complex facilities
- In depth knowledge of medium and low voltage distribution, emergency power systems, critical loads, earthing, lightning protection and integration with mechanical and ICT systems
- Proven experience managing ELV systems including fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, public address/voice alarm, data/telecom and related technologies
- Solid understanding of relevant international and local standards, authority requirements and approval processes
- Demonstrated ability to review and interpret complex design documents, perform technical due diligence and resolve design and site issues effectively
- Experience in testing, commissioning and systems integration for Electrical and ELV works on large projects
- Familiarity with BIM based coordination and common design tools/software used for Electrical and ELV systems
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior MEP Manager Electrical & ELV to join our team!
- In this role you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all Electrical and ELV design and implementation activities for a large, complex venue and associated facilities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and manage all Electrical and ELV works across design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning stages.
- Coordinate with architecture, structure, mechanical, ICT, security and other disciplines to ensure fully integrated and clash‑free Electrical and ELV solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical and life‑safety codes, standards and authority requirements, as well as project‑specific performance, redundancy and resilience criteria.
- Review, comment on and recommend approval of design documents, load calculations, single‑line diagrams, shop drawings, material submittals and method statements related to Electrical and ELV systems.
- Oversee the implementation of power distribution networks, lighting systems, small power, emergency power, UPS, earthing and lightning protection.
- Manage ELV systems including (as applicable) BMS interfaces, fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, public address/voice alarm, data/telecom and other low‑voltage systems.
- Support planning and sizing of infrastructure for high electrical loads, rigging and event‑related equipment, ensuring suitable capacity, redundancy and flexibility for changing operational needs.
- Lead technical coordination meetings with consultants, contractors and suppliers to resolve design and site interface issues.
- Monitor site installation works for quality, safety and adherence to approved designs, highlighting and resolving non‑conformances.
- Plan, oversee and witness testing and commissioning activities for Electrical and ELV systems, ensuring integration with other building services and readiness for operations.
- Contribute to value engineering and optimisation exercises, identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost savings and improved lifecycle performance without compromising safety or reliability.
- Provide technical support to procurement and commercial teams in evaluating bids, variations and claims related to Electrical and ELV scopes.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Power Systems, Building Services, Project Management) is an advantage.
- Professional registration or chartered status (e.g. CEng, PE or equivalent) is desirable.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Electrical and ELV design, installation and management on large, complex building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience on major multi‑disciplinary developments such as exhibition or convention centres, airports, mixed‑use developments, healthcare, data centres or similarly complex facilities.
