Role Overview
An engineering and contracting organization in Qatar is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Engineer.
The role requires strong mechanical design expertise and hands-on knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure systems.
Qatar project experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design activities for MEP and infrastructure projects.
- Design and review STP, wastewater treatment, and sewage pumping station systems.
- Develop and review plumbing, piping, RO, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and ensure appropriate system sizing.
- Select and specify pumps and other mechanical equipment.
- Prepare and review P&IDs, PFDs, mechanical layouts, technical drawings, and design documentation.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, architectural, and other engineering disciplines.
- Review specifications, drawings, calculations, and project deliverables.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Support site teams during implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate design deliverables using project management tools.
