About the Role
ISS International SpA seeks an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer for a fertilizer industry client in Mesaieed, Qatar. The role involves planning, executing, and controlling projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring cost and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities
- Plan, prioritize, execute, monitor, and control assigned projects to meet objectives in quality, schedule, scope, cost, and safety
- Coordinate with project requisitioner, internal & external stakeholders, team members, production, and maintenance representatives
- Ensure regular reporting on projects (cost, schedule, cost phasing, forecasting, accruals, KPIs, scorecard variations) and conduct review meetings
- Compile and provide input to periodic reports, updates to KPIs and CAPEX, and ensure cost control
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University
- 12+ years direct and relevant discipline experience in large EPCC Projects related to oil/gas or petrochemical or fertilizer industry
- Experience in Ammonia and Urea Fertilizer Projects/Plants is an advantage

Job Purpose
- Roles have responsibility for planning, prioritizing, executing, monitoring, and controlling Projects in an efficient and systematic manner
- Prime role as project coordinators in coordinating with team members, multiple trades and stakeholders
- Work as discipline members to execute discipline related scope and deliverables
- Compile and provide input to periodic reports, updates to KPIs and CAPEX, ensure cost control
Engineering & Project Management Activities
- Plan, prioritize, execute, monitor, and control all assigned projects’ activities in either the role of project coordinator or member
- Ensure necessary communication with project requisitioner, internal & external stakeholders, team members, production, and maintenance representatives
- Ensure regular reporting on projects (cost, schedule, cost phasing, forecasting, accruals, KPIs, scorecard variations etc.) and conduct regular review meetings
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University
- 12+ years direct and relevant discipline experience in large EPCC Projects related to oil/gas or petrochemical or fertilizer industry
- Experience in Ammonia and Urea Fertilizer Projects/Plants is an advantage
