The role supports the design and development of mechanical systems for building and infrastructure projects.
The position contributes to design drawings, calculations, and specifications while ensuring compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare mechanical design drawings, layouts, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system design for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and bills of quantities.
- Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines for integrated project delivery.
- Support development and review of project-specific solutions and design optimizations.
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and other applicable codes and standards.
- Participate in design reviews, QA/QC checks, and client meetings when required.
- Respond to RFIs and technical queries and provide construction-phase site support.
Qualifications
- The role requires 15+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Experience with building and infrastructure mechanical systems is required.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools is required.
- Knowledge of local and international mechanical codes and standards is required.
