Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and supervising all electrical engineering works for a PMC infrastructure project involving roads, bridges, and tunnels.

The role ensures that all electrical systems are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client and authority requirements.

• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and method statements submitted by contractors.
• Ensure electrical designs are fully coordinated with civil, structural, mechanical, ITS, and tunnel safety systems.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, international standards (IEC, IEEE, BS, EN), and local authority regulations.
• Oversee electrical systems for roads including street lighting, high mast lighting, power distribution networks, substations, and earthing systems.
• Review lighting calculations, illumination levels, and energy efficiency requirements.
• Review and supervise electrical installations for bridges including architectural lighting, navigational lighting (if applicable), power supply, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Ensure durability and protection of electrical systems against environmental exposure.
• Review and approve tunnel electrical systems including power supply, normal and emergency lighting, UPS, generators, earthing and bonding systems.
• Coordinate electrical systems with tunnel safety systems such as ventilation, fire detection, SCADA, ITS, and emergency response systems.
• Ensure compliance with international tunnel safety standards and life-safety requirements.
• Supervise factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning, and integration testing.
