- Conduct or supervise tests on raw materials or finished products to ensure their quality
- Plan and implement laboratory operations for developing material and fabrication procedures
- Review and make recommendations for material selection based on design objectives
- Solve problems in a number of engineering fields
- Complete, check, and process tests and reports
- Make geotechnical and QC recommendations
- Ensure that field laboratory is responsible for the technical requirement
- Assist in preparing inspection, embankments, concrete, and pavement
- Ensure that off site testing and certifications are valid
- Check and report on compliance with specifications requirements for compaction, gradation, mix proportions, strength, etc.
- Establish laboratory and field testing procedures
- Analyze foundation conditions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction related field
- At least 10 years of overall experience in quality assurance / quality control in Infrastructure, roads, landscape and related works
- Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to the area of assignment

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for a Senior Material Engineer to join the site team on a major public realm development in Diriyah.
- The program includes a series of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct or supervise tests on raw materials or finished products in order to ensure their quality.
- Plan and implement laboratory operations for the purpose of developing material and fabrication procedures that meet cost, product specification, and performance standards.
- Review and make recommendations for material selection based on design objectives.
- Solve problems in a number of engineering fields.
- Completing, checking, and processing tests and reports.
- Making geotechnical and QC recommendations.
- Ensuring that field laboratory is responsible for the technical requirement.
- Assisting in preparing inspection, embankments, concrete, and pavement.
- Ensuring that off site testing and certifications are valid.
- Checking and reporting on compliance with specifications requirements for compaction, gradation, mix proportions, strength, etc., in construction of embankments, structure, pavements, and incidental item.
- Establishing laboratory and field testing procedures.
- Analyzing foundation conditions.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction related field, or equivalent construction related work experience.
- At least 10 years of overall experience in quality assurance / quality control in Infrastructure, roads, landscape and related works.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
