Responsibilities
- Perform structural design, coastal design, geotechnical investigation, and site layout
- Prepare foundation and pile design as well as ground improvement recommendations
- Develop engineering solutions to challenging structural and geotechnical problems
- Coordinate and support marine and geotechnical team on projects
- Oversee waterfront structure and marine infrastructure projects
- Design harbors, marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads, seawalls, breakwaters, and shore protection structures
- Develop and manage instrumentation monitoring systems
- Manage small projects/tasks and support proposal preparation
- Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory authorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil and/or structural engineering
- At least 8 years of related experience
- Strong oral and technical writing skills
- Experience with engineering structural analysis software such as AUTOCAD, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, etc.
- Familiarity with international structural design standards including Eurocode and British Standards
- Familiarity and experience on coastal and waterfront projects
- Advanced degree in civil or structural engineering

- Experience with engineering structural analysis software such as AUTOCAD, SAP2000, HILTI, ALLPILE, STAAD Pro, MATLab, SWAN, SBEACH, MIKE21, and Plaxis (preferred).
- Strong oral and technical writing skills (required).
- Familiarity with international structural design standards including Eurocode and British Standards (preferred).
- Familiarity and experience on coastal and waterfront projects (preferred).
