Responsibilities
- Lead VAT advisory & compliance delivery including FTA audits, voluntary disclosures, VAT health checks, refunds, and dispute support
- Oversee e invoicing readiness and implementation advisory (UAE Peppol, KSA ZATCA, and other GCC mandates)
- Manage client relationships as primary point of contact for CFOs and finance leaders
- Review and sign off technical VAT positions, advisory memos, and submissions
- Lead and develop a team of 4–8 professionals (Associates to Assistant Managers)
- Support proposals, scoping, and cross sell initiatives across VAT and e invoicing services
Requirements
- CA / ACCA / CPA (or equivalent); additional tax qualifications are a plus
- 8–12 years’ indirect tax experience, including Big 4 or equivalent GCC VAT leadership exposure
- Strong UAE VAT experience with FTA interactions (audits, filings, disclosures, refunds)
- Working knowledge of e invoicing frameworks (UAE, KSA, or similar mandates)
- Proven experience managing teams and leading client engagements end to end
- Strong technical writing, client communication, and commercial acumen

Position Overview
- We are hiring a Senior Manager to act as the senior delivery lead and right hand to the Head of Tax Practice, driving end to end VAT and e invoicing advisory engagements across a diverse GCC client portfolio.
- This is a high impact, client facing leadership role with a clear progression path to Director within 3–5 years based on performance.
Key Focus Areas
- Lead VAT advisory & compliance delivery including FTA audits, voluntary disclosures, VAT health checks, refunds, and dispute support.
