- Act as primary PMC focal point for technical matters across architecture, civil, structures, and rail infrastructure
- Lead full design lifecycle from concept to IFC for architectural, civil, structural, and rail works
- Review design submissions, BIM models, and ensure compliance with employer requirements and codes
- Chair multi discipline design review workshops and value engineering sessions
- Manage interfaces between architecture, civil, structures, and rail disciplines
- Embed safety by design principles and oversee compliance with safety standards
- Support client in evaluating design changes and value engineering proposals
- Monitor technical activities against schedule and identify critical path issues

Role Overview
- The Senior Project Manager (Rail): Technical (Architecture, Civil, Structures & Rail) is a senior, client facing role within a PMC organization, responsible for managing and assuring the end to end design and build process for architectural, civil, structural, and rail infrastructure works on a majo
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary PMC focal point for technical matters across architecture, civil, structures, and rail infrastructure.
- Represent the client in high level technical, design, and coordination meetings.
- Ensure employer's requirements and technical standards are implemented by all delivery partners.
- Lead and manage the full design lifecycle for architectural, civil, structural, and rail works.
- Review and comment on design submissions, BIM models, calculations, reports, and specifications.
- Chair and coordinate multi discipline design review workshops, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
- Oversee requirements management and traceability for architectural, civil/structural, and rail scope.
- Collaborate with all interfaces between architecture/civil/structures/rail and other disciplines.
- Manage and maintain interface registers, ensuring early identification and resolution of cross discipline issues.
- Embed safety by design principles into all solutions.
- Oversee compliance with engineering and safety standards.
- Coordinate with independent reviewers, safety assessors, and authorities to secure approvals.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in rail and infrastructure project management.
- Senior level client facing role within a PMC organization.
- Expertise in architecture, civil, structural, and rail infrastructure design and build.
- Knowledge of design management, technical assurance, and safety by design.
