Job Description

  • Reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A & Controllership
  • Leads the financial performance, analytics, governance, and value creation activities associated with Sodexo Canada's Supply Chain and Procurement functions
  • Accountable for maximizing vendor funding performance, improving spend compliance, enhancing supply related forecasting accuracy, and delivering actionable insights

Leads Supply Finance Operations

  • Leads the Supply Finance function, establishing robust processes and controls
  • Oversees financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for all supply related activities
  • Monitors supply related financial performance against budget, forecast, and strategic targets
  • Partners with Procurement and Supply leadership to evaluate sourcing strategies and vendor economics
  • Leads monthly and quarterly business reviews for Supply Finance
  • Supports annual operating plan and forecast cycles

Leads Supply Finance Analytics & Reporting

  • Leads the development and execution of the Supply Finance analytics strategy
  • Owns the design, development, and continuous enhancement of Supply Finance reporting and dashboard capabilities, including Power BI solutions
  • Develops and maintains executive level reporting
  • Identifies financial trends, operational inefficiencies, and performance gaps through advanced analytics
  • Collaborates with Finance, Procurement, IT, and business stakeholders to improve data accessibility
  • Leverages automation, AI enabled analytics, and visualization tools
  • Establishes governance over Supply Finance reporting

Leads Forecasting, Planning & Accrual Governance

  • Leads forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning processes for supply related expenditures
  • Establishes and maintains standardized accrual methodologies
  • Develops forecasting models and analytical tools
  • Leads monthly financial reviews of accrual balances
  • Partners with Controllership to ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Supports financial risk assessments related to procurement and vendor funding
  • Provides decision support and scenario analysis for strategic supply initiatives

Leads Vendor Funding AR & Data Governance

  • Owns the governance, collection, and recovery of vendor funding receivables and rebates
  • Establishes vendor data standards, controls, and performance management processes
  • Leads regular reviews of vendor receivable balances
  • Partners with Procurement, Legal, and vendor partners to resolve disputes
  • Monitors vendor compliance with reporting, rebate, and contractual obligations
  • Establishes processes to improve accuracy and integrity of vendor related financial data
  • Supports internal and external audit requirements

Team Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Serves as the primary finance business partner to Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial Finance, and BP&A leadership
  • Leads and develops a high performing Supply Finance team
  • Establishes clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans
  • Coaches and mentors team members
  • Promotes a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and fact based decision making
  • Builds strong cross functional relationships
  • Contributes to broader Finance transformation initiatives

Qualifications

  • Post secondary Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field required
  • CPA, MBA, CFA, CBV, SCMP, or equivalent advanced business qualification considered an asset
  • Minimum 8 10 years of progressive finance experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing vendor funding programs, rebate recovery processes, working capital initiatives, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Experience partnering with Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial leaders
  • Experience leading financial transformation, reporting automation, Power BI development, or analytics initiatives preferred
  • Experience working in a complex, multi site, matrixed organization preferred
  • Experience managing a team or project leadership with cross functional exposure
  • Advanced financial modeling and performance management
  • Enterprise analytics and reporting tools (Power BI, AI enabled analytics, ERP systems)
  • Forecasting and scenario planning
  • Data visualization and operational reporting
