Senior Manager, Program Management

Working closely with engineering, operations, construction, community leaders, Indigenous organizations, government funding agencies, and external partners, the Program Manager provides leadership and governance to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

The position is responsible for developing and leading a team of up to five professionals while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Program Manager develops and maintains program plans, financial forecasts, implementation schedules, performance metrics, and risk management strategies.

The role is accountable for contract management, vendor oversight, regulatory compliance, funding program reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Particular emphasis is placed on building strong relationships with communities and Indigenous partners to support local participation and long-term program success.

The successful candidate will drive innovation, simplify delivery processes, and ensure alignment with Northwestel's strategic objectives, governance requirements, and project management best practices while enabling reliable, sustainable broadband connectivity throughout the North.
