The Opportunity

  • As Senior Manager you will provide leadership to a team developing innovative product solutions and advance capabilities.

How You Will Create Impact

  • Providing leadership and subject matter expertise concerning Product Solutions initiatives including strategy, methodology and system development and enhancements.
  • Designing, delivering and maintaining the Product Solutions roadmap including identifying needs and opportunities, managing team priorities and collaborating with business partners.
  • Developing key performance indicators for the team and analyzing data to meet goals using data based observations, industry trends and product based research.
  • Monitoring, measuring and reporting on plans and budget for the business unit and completing evaluations to ensure benefits are maximized.
  • Coaching and developing your team, recruiting and selecting talent, managing and rewarding performance, and fostering an agile culture.

To Join Our Team

  • 7 10 years of leadership experience in insurance, product management, underwriting, portfolio management or strategy.
  • Post secondary degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Experience overseeing both Product Management and Solution Delivery functions.
  • Working knowledge of Home, Auto, Commercial and Farm products and the insurance industry landscape.
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) or Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) designation is an asset.
  • Experience working within Agile product management and delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated success delivering strategic initiatives that improve growth, profitability, operational effectiveness, and client outcomes.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.

Salary

  • Expected salary range CAD 114,021 CAD 164,000+ (min max, full range).
  • Salary determined by local market conditions, geography, knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
  • Opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation.

Work Model

  • Hybrid (2 days in office).
