Role Overview
Lead module product engineering for advanced power modules from new product introduction through high-volume production and sustaining.
The product portfolio includes digital power VRMs, multiphase controllers, Smart Power Stages, Power Towers, and power MOSFETs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop product engineers and embedded product engineering leads, including hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management.
- Define standards and governance for product readiness, manufacturability, qualification, yield, change management, quality, cost, capacity, and production release.
- Coordinate execution across design, test, quality, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, applications, product management, and customer-facing teams.
- Ensure manufacturability across outsourced and internal sites, including assembly workmanship, die attach, clip attach, solder integrity, and defect prevention.
- Lead escalations involving yield excursions, qualification issues, production holds, customer returns, and corrective actions.
- Drive improvements in cost, yield, cycle time, traceability, qualification readiness, and production robustness.
- Represent product engineering in leadership reviews, customer escalations, NPI gates, capacity discussions, and strategic planning.
