About the Role
Work as a full-stack engineer on Octopart.com, building user-facing features for part searching and exploration.
Develop web services and business logic for a collaborative electronics design platform.
Solve challenges involving data engineering, distributed systems, and cloud-based architectures.
Working Mode
- The role is hybrid, with three days per week working from the Cambridge office.
Responsibilities
- Build web interfaces using TypeScript and modern frameworks such as Next.js and React.
- Design and implement web services and manage server-side logic.
- Collaborate with front-end, data platform, DevOps, and other cross-functional engineers.
- Design API schemas with backend engineers using a top-down or schema-first approach.
- Participate in code reviews and improve coding standards and best practices.
Core Qualifications
- At least four years of full-stack web application development experience.
- Concrete experience with TypeScript UI development and advanced TypeScript and React front-end development.
