Senior Manager - IT PMO

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Support annual IT planning, demand consolidation, portfolio prioritization, and CAPEX/OPEX budgeting.
• Establish PMO standards, governance, and delivery methodologies against approved scope, budget, timelines, and outcomes.
• Track portfolio delivery, financials, risks, dependencies, and constraints and drive timely escalation.
• Review business cases, investment priorities, and CAPEX approval submissions.
• Oversee resource demand, capacity, and allocation across IT projects and lines of business.
• Govern the IT Change Request portfolio through delivery tracking.
• Support vendor performance, commercial management, contracts, renewals, and external resource requirements.
• Oversee portfolio risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies.
• Review portfolio performance and benefits and recommend reprioritization, reallocation, re-scoping, or closure.
• Provide senior leadership with portfolio insights, risks, and recommendations.
• Enhance PMO processes and tools using data, automation, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree specialized in IT or engineering is required.
• 10–12 years of experience with the stated qualifications is required.
• Fluent English is required.
• Experience managing large IT portfolio projects is required.
• Experience developing strategic partnerships is required.
• Experience in workforce planning and management for a large IT organization is required.
• PMI or ITIL certification is required.
• MBA is preferred and Six Sigma accreditation is advantageous.
