Manager - Procurement Category

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To procure all goods and services related to Corporate Services, E-Commerce, and Marketing categories in accordance with the approved organizational procurement and contract policy & procedures; work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans; and utilize strategic sourcing best practices to capture real savings, consolidating company-wide purchasing volume, applying operational and commercial Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) levers to reduce costs, and managing contracts with suppliers.

• Develops, champions, and ensures implementation of ideas that will optimize total cost of ownership year-over-year for the assigned spend categories.
• Uses strategic sourcing principles and works with the business users to streamline and improve sourcing processes by gathering market and supplier intelligence.
• Leverages business volumes and brand value to deliver competitive advantage in the organization’s Supply Chain.
• Develops market and commodity intelligence, making use of internal and external data to update sourcing strategies for the benefit of business improvement, innovation and cost reduction.
• Manages supplier development/relationships to ensure continuity of good and services that meet the quality, service and price performance standards of the company.
• Develops negotiations strategies and drives negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives, as well as plans and executes negotiations for both formal tenders and ad-hoc activities ensuring that the Business obtains best value on all its spend.
• Drives improvement of procurement efficiency and effectiveness within the organization through spend analysis, implementation of vendor tiering, supply base consolidation/range reduction to achieve economies of scale.
• Remains current with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market experts.
• Engages with stakeholders to agree prequalification and assessment criteria, devise specifications, contract terms, KPI’s and other instruments.
• Leads cross-functional negotiating teams targeting the assigned spend categories.
• Collaborates effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses, and geographies to realize procurement goals and objectives.

• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
• Fluent in English & Arabic
• Demonstrable experience of drafting specialized contracts is essential
• Strong analytical capabilities and negotiation skills.
• Years with qualifications: 8 - 10 years

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team.

Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
