Main objective
Develop, coordinate, and control aircraft base maintenance events.
Optimize manpower, materials, and hangar resources to support efficient workflow execution, cost-effective operations, and leading turnaround times.
Key responsibilities
- Develop project plans, work packages, and maintenance schedules for heavy checks, modifications, and other maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate task sequencing and resource allocation to minimize downtime and meet turnaround targets.
- Monitor productivity and adjust work plans to maintain optimum staffing levels.
- Monitor task progress through status reviews and performance tracking and adjust plans as requirements evolve.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, OEM instructions, company standards, and the Safety Management System.
- Analyze production costs and identify ways to reduce wastage, rework, and overtime while maintaining maintenance quality.
- Plan and distribute workload based on technician skills, certifications, and availability.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and process gaps across maintenance workflows.
- Apply business methodologies to improve shop-floor completion rates and reduce turnaround time.
- Use digital tools, dashboards, and planning software to improve transparency and decision-making.
- Coordinate between engineering, production, supply chain, quality, and commercial teams.
- Lead daily or weekly production meetings and report status, risks, recovery plans, delays, and expected completion dates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or a maintenance-related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience with the stated qualifications.
- Experience in an aircraft base maintenance planning position.
- Experience in business process improvement and audit finding resolution.
- Experience developing complex plans.
- Fluent English.
- Experience with AMOS, Microsoft tools, or equivalent software.
- An aircraft maintenance license is advantageous.

- The role coordinates aircraft base maintenance activities involving hangar resources, technicians, and shop-floor workflows.
