Lead and manage end-to-end IT operations and delivery across flydubai.
Ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT services while overseeing infrastructure operations, emerging technology evaluation, and operational project delivery.
IT operations and infrastructure
- Provide strategic oversight of infrastructure, systems, and technology platforms for high availability, resilience, and enterprise alignment.
- Oversee the 24×7 NOC, including proactive monitoring, event management, and rapid incident response.
- Oversee data center modernization, cloud migration, network upgrades, platform refreshes, and core operational system deployments.
- Lead feasibility studies, benchmarking, and proof-of-concept initiatives that inform architecture, OPEX/CAPEX planning, and technology roadmaps.
Governance, resilience, and security
- Provide senior leadership and governance for infrastructure and operational project portfolios.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security Operations to strengthen vulnerability response and the infrastructure security posture.
- Conduct disaster recovery drills against defined RTO and RPO objectives.
- Ensure daily backup and restore operations preserve company data integrity and availability.
- Lead periodic audits and operational health assessments to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Optimize IT asset management and the CMDB for visibility, lifecycle control, and compliance.
People and service delivery
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT operations and infrastructure support team.
- Ensure smooth service transition and knowledge transfer for new business initiatives.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10–12 years of experience with the stated qualifications and IT operations responsibilities.
- Fluent English.
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems and equipment.
- Experience directing IT operations and managing teams of technicians, systems engineers, and other IT staff.
- Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, or ITSM standards and experience with IT monitoring, administration, and ITSM tools.
- Experience handling disaster recovery situations.
- Certification in IT governance or service management frameworks such as COBIT and ITIL.

Information security responsibilities
