Role Overview

Investment and Asset Management

• Monitor hotel and investment portfolio financial and operational performance and identify efficiency and profitability opportunities.
• Lead or support asset enhancement and repositioning initiatives, including market analysis, business cases, and capital planning.
• Conduct investment analysis, financial modelling, and valuation for acquisitions, disposals, and strategic opportunities.
• Review annual property valuations and capital expenditure requests.
• Prepare investment papers, portfolio reviews, and approval materials.

Business Development

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential HMA opportunities through market, site, and competitive assessments.
• Develop financial models, feasibility studies, and scenario analyses for potential opportunities.
• Prepare RFP responses, proposals, recommendations, and presentations.
• Support HMA negotiations and transaction execution, including due diligence, deal structuring, and commercial terms.
• Support approval processes and maintain relationships with HMA owners and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a comparable role.
• Five-star hotel group experience is preferred.
• Real estate brokerage or advisory, Big Four accounting, or top-tier consulting experience is advantageous.
• Proven hospitality industry network and relationships supporting market intelligence and HMA development.
• Strong analytical and financial skills with advanced financial modelling proficiency.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Proactive, collaborative, resourceful, adaptable, and independently investigative approach.
