About the Role
A leading UAE insurer is creating a Senior Manager role to build its International Private Medical Insurance proposition across multiple markets.
The role owns strategy and commercial growth for the international health insurance portfolio.
The mandate covers new business acquisition, client retention, regional distribution, and proposition and channel strategy.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute the strategic plan to grow the IPMI portfolio across new business and retention.
- Identify new markets, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships to drive market penetration.
- Build and manage relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and corporate clients.
- Expand distribution across digital platforms, bancassurance, and corporate partnerships.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to shape business development.
- Monitor sales performance and KPIs and drive accountability across the sales team.
- Ensure operational excellence across policy issuance, premium collection, and customer servicing.
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in International Private Medical Insurance, with a strong focus on distribution.
- Solid understanding of global health insurance markets, regulation, and the competitive landscape.
- A proven broker and intermediary network in the region.
- Strong analytical and decision-making ability and excellent stakeholder management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA is advantageous.
- Insurance certification such as ACII, AIIK, FLMI, or equivalent is preferred.
- Arabic language skills are advantageous.
