A regulated payment services provider in the UAE is seeking a contract professional to own commercial, vendor, and partnership agreements.
The role sits within the Legal function and manages contracts from negotiation through renewal.
The position is responsible for ensuring agreements are sound, compliant, and properly managed.
What You Will Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, addendums, and SLAs with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Ensure agreements align with legal, regulatory, and company policy requirements.
- Work across legal, finance, operations, compliance, and business teams to finalize contractual terms.
- Build and maintain a centralized contract repository with proper documentation and version control.
- Track contract milestones, renewals, expiries, and ongoing compliance obligations.
- Identify contractual risks early and propose practical mitigation.
- Advise internal stakeholders on contract matters and support internal audits.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies on compliance documentation and filings.
Required Experience and Knowledge
- 5–8 years of experience in contract management, legal, procurement, or commercial roles.
- Strong grounding in contract law and commercial agreements.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in payment services or fintech.
- Familiarity with SLAs, vendor agreements, and client contracts typical of the payments industry.
- Knowledge of compliance standards, procurement processes, and risk management.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Organizational discipline to track multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with contract management systems.
