Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long term financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain financial models incorporating key business and operational drivers.
  • Establish a Zero Based Budgeting (ZBB) framework and monitor cost performance.
  • Support capital expenditure planning and investment analysis.
  • Consolidate budgets and provide variance analysis to senior management.
  • Develop monthly management reports with financial analysis and business insights.
  • Design and maintain BI dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Partner with IT to ensure accurate reporting from ERP and operational systems.
  • Translate financial and operational data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Develop and implement KPI frameworks and a balanced scorecard.
  • Monitor business performance through monthly and quarterly reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting and performance measurement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional qualification such as CMA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA is preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, financial reporting, and business performance management.
  • Experience in Agribusiness, FMCG, Manufacturing, or other asset intensive industries is an advantage.
  • Proven experience building or enhancing FP&A and reporting functions.

Technical Skills

  • Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Financial modelling and business analysis
  • Power BI, Oracle Analytics, or similar BI tools
  • ERP systems (Oracle Fusion or equivalent)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • KPI development and performance management
  • Cost allocation and profitability analysis
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and management reporting
