Responsibilities
- Manage contract variations, change orders, and extension of time/cost claims, ensuring proper evaluation, documentation, approvals, and reporting
- Oversee utilization of project contingencies and provisional sums, ensuring disciplined budget control and alignment with approved business cases
- Direct cost monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing clear insights and mitigation strategies to senior management
- Ensure integrity and reconciliation of data across SAP, Primavera P6, Unifier, BIM, and related systems
- Oversee monthly accrual reviews and financial close activities to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide high level oversight of schedule changes and integrated cost/schedule impacts
- Lead risk and opportunity reviews, ensuring timely identification, assessment, and escalation of key exposures
- Act as a senior liaison between Finance, Commercial, and Project Delivery teams to ensure transparency and alignment
- Mentor and guide project controls teams, promoting governance, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Working knowledge or certification on project tools such as Primavera P6, Unifier, SAP project module
- 8+ years of experience in Project Controls, or Development Finance as part of large construction company or large developer or PMC
- Professional certifications such as CPA/MBA preferred
- Certificate in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution RICS or similar preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

Role Overview
