Job Description

  • Parsons is in search of an exceptionally talented Senior Manager – District Integration to join their team.
  • You will solve critical physical and functional puzzles where a GoA4 driverless rail system meets a massive master planned urban development.
  • Operating client side, ensure stations, viaducts, tunnels, and auxiliary infrastructure blend seamlessly into surrounding developer districts without compromising rail performance or masterplan aspirations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Cross Asset Alignment: Drive spatial integration and layout configuration of all fixed rail infrastructure.
  • Spaceproofing & Rights of Way: Define, manage, and protect physical boundaries and maintenance easements.
  • Auxiliary System Placement: Coordinate location and design of critical wayside infrastructure.
  • BIM & Model Governance: Lead coordination of federated 3D/BIM models to catch spatial conflicts early.
  • Clash Resolution: Act as lead mediator when rail components clash with developer buildings, utilities, roads, or landscaping.
  • Interface Documentation: Establish and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and boundary matrices.
  • Fire Life Safety (FLS): Ensure integrated designs maintain emergency egress routes and smoke management paths.
  • Operations & Maintenance (O&M): Guarantee permanent, practical, safe 24/7 access to rail assets.
  • Customer Experience (CX): Seamlessly bridge journey between developer's public realm and rail transit environment.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in large scale rail, transit, or complex urban infrastructure projects.
  • Exceptional understanding of rail alignment constraints, structural clearances, and spatial requirements for GoA4 systems.
  • Deep familiarity with BIM coordination workflows and modern design software.
  • Proven experience navigating competing priorities in a developer led environment or mega project.
  • Strong knowledge of international Fire Life Safety codes (e.g., NFPA 130) and rail O&M.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or closely related technical discipline.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to negotiate firmly while maintaining collaborative relationships.
