- Provide product design direction and oversight of a mobile native design system product at scale
- Formulate and validate design hypotheses through iterative releases of MVP
- Align to Agile methodology and promote a test and learn approach
- Facilitate demos, presentations, workshops, and stakeholder sessions
- Empower a team to succeed with a shared vision, delegating authority and removing obstacles
- Establish a cadence for regular check ins and empower team to manage day to day tasks
- Provide career, leadership development, coaching, and guidance through recurring check ins
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience as a designer
- Minimum 3 5 years experience leading teams and complex digital projects
- Experience with design systems and working closely with engineering partners
- Highly skilled in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and solid understanding of system design
- Systematic thinker who seeks patterns and is comfortable with ambiguity
- Project management skills to plan and analyze resources
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members
- Industry experience with Financial Institutions
- Comfortable with various front end technology platforms

Job Description
- As a leader of the Design System team, you will make decisions to empower your team to make work efficient, effective, and enjoyable.
- You will provide thought leadership to set up a high performing product design team and operationalize within an Agile framework.
What will you do?
- Provide product design direction and oversight of a mobile native design system product at scale.
- Formulate and validate design hypotheses through iterative releases of MVP.
- Align to Agile methodology and promote a test and learn approach.
- Facilitate demos, presentations, workshops, and stakeholder sessions.
- Empower a team to succeed with a shared vision; delegating authority and removing obstacles.

What do you need to succeed? Must have
- At least 10 years of experience as a designer with a minimum of 3 5 years experience leading teams and complex digital projects.
- Experience with design systems and working closely with engineering partners.
